Jewelry Trends for 2022

Jewelry Trends for 2022

Even if you don’t believe it, a new year can feel like an opportunity for a fresh start, and after another strange and difficult year, we could all use one don’t you think? One of my favorite aspects of beginning another year is the opportunity to refresh my wardrobe and take advantage of some fresh trends.

When it comes to building a jewelry collection, I like to make sure that I’m adding an eclectic assortment of pieces from simple to costume, bold gemstones to muted metals. I usually find myself reaching for the same few pieces on a daily basis depending on the season and what’s trending. What makes jewelry so special is that it really is meant to be a timeless luxury, so with a good collection you’ll find yourself returning to each piece again throughout the years.

To kick off the new year I wanted to share some of the best jewelry trends for 2022 to help you put your best iced-out self forward this year. Let’s get into it!

Charm Bracelets

That’s right, charm bracelets are back in vogue in a big way. This time around, charm bracelets have a mature and more subtle edge. Bracelets packed with eye-popping dangling charms are certainly having a moment on SS 22 runways, but dainty chains with a single pendant offer a more demure way to take advantage of this trend. Our Diamond Initial Bracelet features a single letter pendant lined with diamonds that showcases the beauty found in subtlety.

Cocktail Rings

It’s no surprise that with the return of cocktail parties, we’re seeing a resurgence in cocktail rings. With everyone wanting to put their best foot forward and stand out from the crowd, bold rings that make a statement are here to help. My favorite for going all out? The Jane Kaye Double Leaf Ring and the multicolored MY STORY Amelia Ring

Personalized Jewelry

What’s better than a piece of jewelry made just for you or your favorite person? Nothing. Name necklaces and bracelets may be trending, but they’re a stunning evergreen item that you’ll be reaching for each morning. Our Gold Name On Paperclip Necklace features 10 different typeface options in Rose Gold, White Gold, and Yellow Gold. For a more glamorous look, our Diamond Custom Name Necklace is just as the name suggests: lined with 0.21 diamond carats.

I hope these trends have inspired you! I for one am so excited to see these jewelry trends in action this year. While 2021 was all about beads, neon enamel, and crystals, it’s looking like this year will lean toward a more sophisticated look that’s stacked with subtle pendants, rainbow gemstones, and custom nameplates. As always, NOGAMA Fine Jewelry has a wide range of fine styles to help you build the jewelry collection of your dreams.

Since I love to hear from all of you, I’m interested to know what you think of these trends and if you’ll be taking part. If not, what else is on your jewelry wishlist in 2022? Let me know in the comments!
